Mourning her mother’s death, a filmmaker returns to her Peruvian hometown, reconstructing her mother's life through cinematic scenes. In the struggling neighborhood of Chicago, the memories, vivid yet contradictory, of neighbours, relatives, and friends create a filmic memoir that offers a profound exploration of grief and the longing for home.
